WULONG TEA

 

Originating from the end of the Ming Dynasty and the beginning of the Ching Dynasty, Wulong Tea is a semi-fermented tea mostly produced in the province of Fu Jian and Guang Dong. 

 

Wulong Teas are categorized in between Green Teas and Red Teas as it has certain characteristics of the both: dark solid green leaves, bright golden tea color, green with red edges leaves when wet, and deep but refreshing floral aroma. There are also Green Wulong Tea such as Ti Guan Yin and Red Wulong Tea such as Da Hong Pao.
